Volunteer Committees
Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF) encourages members to engage in volunteer committees to advance their personal and professional development. YPF has two different types of committees, Standing Committees and Special Committees. Standing Committees meet regularly throughout the year, while Special Committees only meet for a certain time frame of the year.
Standing Committees
Programming and Events (P & E)
This committee plans YPF get-togethers and brainstorms and surveys the interests of community members on a variety of social and professional events. Picking event locations, approaching potential speakers, and helping with day-of event tasks are a few examples of involvement on the P&E Committee.
Membership Engagement
This committee works to enhance the membership experience; from welcoming new members, to fostering relationships between existing members, and providing opportunities to grow the YPF membership base. Committee members oversee membership outreach initiatives and recruitment of new individual members, corporate members, and sponsors.
Marketing
This committee is focused on promoting YPF events and happenings to our members and oversees marketing initiatives, event promotion, maintaining social media platforms, monthly newsletter creation and distribution, media gathering and editing, and more!
Special Committees
Casino Night | Hosted Annually in September
Casino Night is an annual fundraiser that donates money raised for a local area non-profit through a Vegas-styled game night. Experienced dealers teach you to play the games of your choice, so no need to worry about skill level!
Breakfast with Champions | Hosted Annually in November
Breakfast with Champions is an event that brings young professionals and established community leaders together to get to know each other, share ideas, and develop relationships that will support the continued growth of Fond du Lac County.
Young Leaders Breakfast | Hosted Annually in December
Young Leaders Breakfast is an event based off Breakfast with Champions that brings high schoolers and young professionals together to learn more about options upon graduation.
Future Five Awards | Hosted Annually in January
The Future Five Awards is a ceremony to support and recognize upcoming leaders in the community. This award is presented to five area young professionals who are growing and excelling in their respective fields and will continue to positively influence the growth, prosperity, and quality of life in Fond du Lac County well into the future.
Amazing Race | Hosted Annually in July
A take on the TV series, YPF’s Amazing Race features teams working together and traveling around the city of Fond du Lac to complete tasks.

YPF is a program of the Envision Greater Fond du Lac Foundation. As a 501(c)(3), donations made to YPF are tax deductible.
Financial assistance is available for YPF’s annual membership, Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s and YPF’s mission is to improve and develop all future leaders in the Fond du Lac area, regardless of their ability to pay.
