What do you enjoy the most about your career? I get satisfaction from meeting and connecting with people, which allows me see the great things going on in our community. I also enjoy learning goals of customers, formulating a customized financial solution to achieve these goals and I take pride in contributing to their achievements and supporting their ongoing success.
What words of wisdom would you share with other YP’s in relation to career building? No one is going to build your career for you. You have to be the one to network, put in the time, and do the work to achieve your career goals.
Who or what inspires and motivates you to be your best? Knowing that my job is contingent on businesses growing and meeting their goals.
What are 3 Characteristics and/or Strengths that make you who you are?
Curiosity: I try to have a genuine thirst for knowledge seeking out new things to learn, staying open-minded to explore new ideas and perspectives that can benefit myself.
Adaptability: I navigate uncertainties and setbacks effectively because life happens and adjust to these changing circumstances and using these lessons for learning/growing.
Creativity: I attempt to tackle problems with innovative ideas and solutions, thinking outside the box to find new approaches.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time/a hobby you enjoy? I enjoy golfing, attending events, and everything Wisconsin sports.
What is your favorite part about being in YPF and how has it benefited you? The best part about YPF is meeting and greeting the other members and sharing success stories or how certain issue at work were resolved. I appreciate that the members of YPF are in similar positions in our careers and the members are willing to chat and build relationships that stem beyond a YPF event. This has benefited me by moving to Fond du Lac and immediately having a good network.
What does community engagement look like for you? Community engagement for me encompasses active participation in local events in our downtown and greater community, volunteering with organizations that make a meaningful impact, and collaborating with community leaders to address our shared challenges. It’s about fostering connections, contributing expertise, and working together towards a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.
