YP of the Month – Andrea Cisar (April 2025)

First and Last Name: Andrea Cisar

Hometown: Coleman, WI

What Brought you to Fond du Lac: After Grad School, my husband and I purchased a home in Burnett to be close to our work, and to fulfill our dream of having a home in the country.

Place of Employment and Position: I own Stone House Digital – Founder and CEO

What do you enjoy the most about your career? Meeting, supporting and encouraging fellow entrepreneurs bring me the most joy.

What words of wisdom would you share with other YP’s in relation to career building? Always seek more: More Professional Development, more connections, more opportunities to grow personally
and professionally!

Who or what inspires and motivates you to be your best? My community inspires me! Investing back into my local community through low- and no-cost professional development in digital marketing drives me to serve those around me. Just like the old adage – “A Rising Tide Carries Many Ships”. I love to see our rural communities thriving!

What are 3 Characteristics and/or Strengths that make you who you are?
Determined
Inquisitive
Thoughtful

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time/a hobby you enjoy?
I’m a huge history buff! I love learning about all things Wisconsin History. My favorite topics include: The Fur Trade era and early colonization, the Lumber Era, and specific histories of people and places. (ask me about my house!)

Name something you enjoy doing in the Greater Fond du Lac Area that others should check out: There are so many wonderful, niche things to do in the area! Get out and enjoy a local Car Show, find a craft
fair and discover some local artists, explore the Dodge County Antique Power Club Show in August, tour a local museum and learn about your area’s history – there’s incredible tales of ordinary people doing extraordinary things!

Share a lesson you have learned or a nugget of advice with other YP’s: Fail forward – Don’t wait for the result, but keep pivoting and trying something new!

What do you love about the Greater Fond du Lac Area today and what is your hope for its future in the years to come? I hope it never loses its’ small town charm. The Greater Fond du Lac area is unique in its’ close proximity to major cities but holds the dichotomy of very rural spaces. There is immense beauty in both of those spaces, but real life happens “off the highway”. Take the time to visit rural downtowns – let’s keep our small towns thriving for years to come!
