Sam Meyer has been with State Farm for 35 years. He began his career in Minnesota (7 years) in claims before becoming an agent in Wisconsin.  State Farm, who celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2022, is the largest auto and home insurance carrier in the United States and offers more than 100 insurance and investment related products. Sam’s office is currently located in Downtown Fond du Lac, in a building he restored in 2006. 

This year, Sam purchased an 1860 brick building on Marr Street and plans to move it to a lot he owns on N. Main Street, across from the Fond du Lac police station.  The restoration of the 160-year-old building is expected to take a year and will house Sam’s insurance agency sometime in 2024. 

Sam is the father of four and became a grandfather in 2022.
