The National Weather Service reports that snowfall statewide has been 20 to 30 inches below normal this winter. This unusually low snowfall has hurt many businesses who depend on it.
The federal Small Business Administration recently announced that business can apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans if they were affected by the lack of winter snow this year. Businesses in Fond du Lac, Dodge, and Winnebago counties can apply. The deadlines for all three counties have now been extended to July 31st.
Businesses may submit applications and find additional disaster assistance information at https://lending.sba.gov.
