No. 6 Marian University ACHA D2 (20-3-0, 10-0-0 NCHL) claimed its fifth NCHL Hap Cup Championship defeating Roosevelt 10-0, No. 16 Marquette 5-1, and No. 17 Purdue Northwest 5-4.

GAME 1 (ROOSEVELT, W, 10-0)
- Marian was no match for Roosevelt in the opening round of the tournament as Marian scored double-digit goals for the third time this season.
- The Sabres scored four times in the opening period and then three times in the following two periods.
GAME 2 (MARQUETTE, W, 5-1)
- The Sabres were able to overcome a slow start in the semifinals to easily defeat Marquette.
- The Golden Eagles opened the scoring and took a 1-0 lead into the second period.
- Marian responded with a dominating second period that saw them score four times.
- Easton Nick opened the scoring for Marian at the 5:06 mark before the Sabres netted three goals in a span of 3:03 to lead 4-1 going into the final period.
- Justin Doucette sealed the game with an empty-net score to send Marian to the championship game for the sixth time in program history.
GAME 3 (PURDUE NORTHWEST, W, 5-4)
- Marian started quickly scoring just 1:06 into the championship game when Nick lit the lamp.
- Purdue Northwest responded at the 3:56 mark and took the lead going into the second period with a goal with 52 seconds left in the opening stanza.
- Nick was back at it with his second goal of the game to open the second period to tie the game but the Pride responded.
- Gavyn Galloway was able to find the score sheet with 8:40 left in the period to send the game into the final period tied at 3-3.
- The Sabres were able to retake the lead with a Cayden Frenette goal 1:25 into the final period.
- A second Frenette goal, this time on the power play, gave Marian its first multi-goal cushion of the game.
- The Pride made things interesting with a goal with just 37 seconds left but Marian was able to hold off the potential come back.

GAME 1
- Marian had a 54-16 advantage for shots in the game with at least 12 shots in all three periods.
- The Sabres went 3-for-5 on the power play and the penalty kill fought off all seven Roosevelt chances.
- The shutout was the sixth this season for Marian.
- This was the first meeting between the two schools.
GAME 2
- The Sabres outshot Marquette 47-32 including a 35-18 margin between the final two periods.
- Marian was 1-for-9 on the power play and the Sabres didn’t allow a power-play goal on four Marquette chances.
- The Sabres were 3-0-0 against Marquette this season and are now 11-3-1 all-time.
GAME 2
- Purdue Northwest finished with a 48-23 advantage for shots in the game.
- The Sabres finished 1-for-6 on the power play and held the Pride scoreless on four opportunities.
- Marian improved to 5-1 in NCHL Hap Cup Championship games.
- The Sabres were 2-1-0 against the Pride on the campaign and are 5-2-0 all-time.
