National Exchange Bank & Trust Announces Officer Promotions

National Exchange Bank & Trust has announced numerous promotions within the organization.  

Sarah Aellig – Loan Servicing Officer  
Sarah Aellig is promoted to loan servicing officer and works out of the bank’s operations office on Second Street in Fond du Lac.  

Aellig joined the bank in 2020 as a loan services documentation supervisor. She was responsible for completing internal audits and monitoring residential and commercial loan portfolios to ensure compliance with government regulations and guidelines. In her new role, Aellig will supervise the loan and lien documentation review team to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency of the documentation process.  

Aellig grew up in Waupun, Wisconsin, and currently resides there. She obtained her associate’s degree in accounting from the Milwaukee Area Technical College and has also completed courses at Martin Luther College. She serves the community as a member of the United Way Team at National Exchange Bank & Trust.  

Becky Guseck – Compliance Officer  

Becky Guseck is promoted to compliance officer. Guseck joined the bank in 2015 as an internal auditor. In 2021, she transitioned to compliance specialist and was promoted to compliance team lead in 2022. In her advanced role as compliance officer, Guseck will continue to help ensure compliance and reduce risk. She will play an integral part in implementing programs, conducting audits, analyzing data and supporting product development.  

Guseck, originally from Porterfield, Wisconsin, attended Marinette Senior High School. She earned an associate degree in business administration from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, followed by a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in business and organizational development from Silver Lake College. Today, Guseck lives in Kimberly, Wisconsin. 

Desirae Jimenez – VP/Operations & Project Management  
Desirae Jimenez is promoted to vice president of operations and project management, and she is based out of the Fond du Lac office located on South Main Street. 

Jimenez joined the bank in 2004 and has held various positions. In her role as VP/operations & project management, she will continue to lead various projects across the organization, oversee card payment functions, manage the bank’s ATM network and analyze data to help support customer communication needs and other business efforts. 

Jimenez grew up in Beaver Dam and attended Beaver Dam High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics & finance from Marian University, a certificate in Project Management from UW-Milwaukee and has recently obtained her certificate of executive leadership from the Graduate School of Banking. Jimenez currently resides in Beaver Dam with her family and is active in the community as president of the Beaver Dam Lions Club and a mentor for the Beaver Dam Unified School District Partners are Learning Mentoring Program. 

Julie Stigler – VP/eBanking  
Julie Stigler is promoted to vice president of eBanking and is based out of the Fond du Lac office located on North Main Street. 

Stigler joined the bank in 2015 as an eBanking business specialist. She was then promoted to eBanking business lead before becoming an eBanking business officer and then AVP/eBanking. In her expanded role as VP/eBanking, she will oversee functions in both consumer and business electronic banking, help to establish and review the banks deposit rate structure, participate on cross functional teams to bring new products and services to customers, and help deliver banking solutions and services that help customers streamline their processes for efficiency and accuracy. 

Stigler grew up in Oakfield where she attended Oakfield High School. She then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in communication from Carroll University and her master’s degree in organizational leadership and quality from Marian University. She also holds a project management certificate from the UW – Milwaukee School of Continuing Education and a digital banking certificate from the Graduate School of Banking at UW – Madison. She currently resides in Rosendale with her family. She is active in the community as a part of the Laconia Junior Football Club and the Fond du Lac Joint Review Board.  

Dana Swiss – AVP/Loan Servicing  
Dana Swiss is promoted to assistant vice president of loan servicing and is based out of the bank’s operations office in downtown Fond du Lac.  

Swiss joined the bank in 2003 as a commercial loan processor. Throughout her tenure, Swiss has taken on many different roles within the loan servicing department. Most recently, she was promoted to loan servicing officer in 2023.  In her new role as assistant vice president of loan servicing, Swiss will continue to oversee the loan input and credit inquiry staff and review processes and reports to ensure compliance.  

Swiss grew up in Austin, Texas, and now resides in Fond du Lac with her family. She is an active member of the United Way committee at National Exchange Bank & Trust and serves on the committee for Relay for Life.  

Monika Waisbrot – Commercial Loan Officer  
Monika Waisbrot is promoted to commercial loan officer and works out of the bank’s Montello office.  

Prior to joining National Exchange Bank & Trust in 2021 as a commercial lender, Waisbrot worked as a branch manager for other financial institutions, bringing with her nearly fifteen years of experience in the banking industry. In her expanded role, Waisbrot will be responsible for managing commercial loans and fostering relationships in the bank’s western region including Coloma, Montello, Princeton and Westfield communities.  

Waisbrot grew up in Poland, where she attended the Academy of Economics and obtained her associate’s degree. She currently resides in Westfield, Wisconsin, and is active in the community as a member of the board of directors for Budda Box Inc., a non-profit organization that assists cancer patients. She also volunteers for local events like Dairylicious Days in Westfield and Fish N Fun in Montello. 

Joe Weber – AVP/Retail Lending Supervisor 
Joe Weber is promoted to assistant vice president and retail lending supervisor and is based out of the bank’s Waukesha office.  

Weber joined the bank in 2022 as a mortgage loan officer. In his expanded role as assistant vice president and retail lending supervisor, he will lead business development, serving as the primary retail lender in Waukesha and managing a team of retail lenders that serve the bank’s Beaver Dam, Campbellsport, Mayville and West Bend communities. 

Weber grew up in Hartland, Wisconsin, and attended Arrowhead High School. He then went on to earn a bachelor’s of science degree from UW – Oshkosh. Weber currently resides in Greenfield with his family and actively participates in the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association, serving on the board of directors for both the Milwaukee and State chapters. 

Dustin Zanin – Mortgage Loan Officer 
Dustin Zanin is promoted to mortgage loan officer and works out of the West Johnson Street office in Fond du Lac.  

Zanin joined the bank in 2020 as a retail lender for the bank’s Elkhart Lake office. In his new role as Mortgage Loan Officer, Zanin will continue to be responsible for originating and servicing residential mortgage loans.   

Zanin grew up in Neenah, Wisconsin, where he attended Neenah High School. He graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with his associate’s degree in business management and marketing. He currently resides in Fond du Lac and is active in the community as a member of Young Professionals of Fond du Lac.
