Marian University baseball (10-10, 5-3 NACC) earned wins of 13-7 and 3-1 over Dominican for their first conference sweep of the season.

GAME 1
- Marian wasted no time scoring four runs in the opening frame of the twin bill.
- Dominican was able to cut the deficit down to one with a run in the first and two in the second.
- A double from sophomore Marc Jones extended the Marian lead to 5-3 in the third, but Dominican took its first lead at 7-5 with two runs in the third and fourth innings.
- Marian responded with back-to-back two run frames in the sixth and seventh to retake the lead at 9-7.
- Jones had another run-producing double in the seventh to give Marian the lead.
- The Sabres were able to break the game open with four runs in the ninth opened with a triple from senior Jacob Kleemann that plated two runs.
- Six different Sabres had multiple hits in the victory.
GAME 2
- The scoring started early in game two as well as Jones plated two runs with a single in the top of the first.
- Dominican had a run-producing triple of their own in the bottom of the first to cut the Marian lead down to 2-1.
- Both offenses then went quiet until graduate student Dylan Pease brought home a run in the sixth with a single.
- The Stars brought the tying run to the plate in the ninth inning but Marian was able to secure the sweep.
- Marian is now 22-18 all-time against Dominican having won the last four games.
