The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac (CMFDL) invites you to the first family event of the summer on Friday June 16th from 4-7pm. The Summer Fun Kick-Off will have hand-on learning for all including yard games, water exploration, a bounce house and so much more! The first 500 kiddos receive a free limited edition beach ball PLUS all member families can bring along a guest at 50% off.

This fun event kicks off with a ribbon cutting for new StemPlay and Percussion Play outdoor equipment, donated by BCI Burke. The StemPlay collection fosters learning in a fun and child-directed way, taking concepts of engineering and science and bringing them into an open environment. Outdoor play can promote intellectual growth, and physical, emotional, and mental health, especially while enjoying the ambient laughs and joyful music played on the new Percussion Play instruments. Both new areas are located in the WinnePLAYgo outdoor space at CMFDL.

To present this ribbon cutting celebration and related family event, CMFDL will have special hours on Friday, June 16 of 11am – 7pm. Art Explorers, in partnership with the Fond du Lac Area Foundation will run as scheduled at 11am. Ribbon cutting will begin at 4:30.
