Marian University baseball (15-15, 9-7 NACC) earned a road split at Aurora with a 4-1 win followed by a 9-3 defeat.

GAME 1
- After a scoreless three frames, senior Ryan Nelson came up with a clutch two-out double to drive in three runs in the fourth.
- The Sabres would never relinquish this lead with Aurora plating its lone run in the seventh.
- A single from fellow senior Gus Walker in the eighth expanded the Marian lead to 4-1, which held for the final.
GAME 2
- The Sabres started game two strong when senior Logan Rademan drove in a run in the first with a double.
- Marian was able to plate a run in the third as well to lead 2-0.
- Aurora managed to take its first lead of the game after scoring three runs in the fourth inning.
- The Sabres were able to tie the game in the sixth, however, when senior Albert Kiszka drove in a run.
- Aurora scored at least one run in its final three innings to salvage a split.
- Marian is now 10-27 all-time against Aurora, 2-2 over the last two seasons.
