On Monday, January 10th, 2022, the Fond du Lac County Health Department will host a free walk-in influenza vaccination clinic from 10am-3pm. The clinic will be held in rooms G and H on the first floor of the City/County Government Center (160 S. Macy Street Fond du Lac, WI 54935). This clinic is available for anyone ages 6 months and older. Free of cost, no appointments or insurance necessary. This clinic is injectable vaccine only. The Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends flu vaccination as the best protection against flu viruses for people ages 6 months and older. We are currently seeing the virus that causes the flu circulating, and as of 12/18/21, there were 2,068 documented cases of influenza in Wisconsin. Although flu vaccines are typically given in fall, it’s not too late for individuals to get their flu vaccine and receive protection for the remainder of this flu season.
